Facilty: The Avis Kelley Invitational will be held at the Garcia-Elder Sports Complex.
The track host nine
lanes. Any spike length longer than 1/4 will not be allowed.
The Shot Put & Discus rings are outside of the stadium.
Date: Saturday March 21st 2009
Place:Gilroy
High School-Gilroy,Ca
Time: Track Trials 9:00am & Field Events 9:00am
Divisions:Varsity Boys, Varsity Girls & Frosh/Soph Boys
Athletes: Each athlete may only compete in 4 events. Both A & B Relay Teams may be entered.
Entries: Track Trials will be held in the 100/110 Hurdles, 100 & 200
meters. Field Events: LJ,TJ,Shot & Discus will
get 4 attempts.
Direct Athletics: We will be using
Direct Athletics for entries this year. Entries are due in by Sat 3/14/09 at midnight.
Results:
Finish Lynx automatic timing system will be used.
Awards: Custom medals will
be awarded to the Top 6 Varsity places and Top 3 F/S places.
Coaches Hat: Each
Varsity event winner will earn a Champions Hat for their coach.
Trophies:
Team Trophies will be awarded to each division.
Entry fees: $4.00 per
entry per event and $10.00 per relay team.
You may bring your check the day of the meet.
Trainer: An athletic trainer will be available during the meet.
Admissions:Adults-$4.00,
Students with ASB-$1.00 and children under 12-$1.00.

Invite T-Shirts will be on sale for $12.00
Concessions: A concessions stand
will be open.
Uniform & Jewlery:
The uniform & jewlery rule will be enforced. See rule 4.3 NFHS.
Weather:
The meet will go on RAIN or SHINE.
